Privacy & Cookie Policy

This policy explains how we process the personal data of users who browse the lightest.bike website and use its services, in particular the AI compatibility checker and the contact forms. It forms an integral and specific part of the general privacy policy of the Bikee Bike brand.

Profiling and automated communications. To prioritize sales follow-up we calculate a non-decisive “purchase-interest score” from the data you provide (configuration, contact details) and we may send automated follow-up communications about your quote. This is based on your consent, produces no legal or similarly significant effects (Art. 22 GDPR does not apply) and you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by writing to info@lightest.bike.

3. AI Compatibility Checker — Processing of Photos

Important

When you upload a photo of your bike to the checker, the image is sent to our server and transmitted, solely for automated analysis, to Anthropic PBC (provider of the "Claude" artificial intelligence model), based in the United States.

4. Recipients and Data Processors

Data may be processed by authorized personnel and by the following providers, appointed as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

Where a processor is based outside the EU (USA), the transfer takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, together with the relevant Data Processing Agreements (DPA).

Data is neither disclosed nor transferred to third parties for their own independent purposes.

You may exercise at any time the rights provided under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

The Controller may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page, showing the date it was last updated.

Some images on this site have been processed or generated with generative artificial-intelligence tools. They are illustrative; the product supplied corresponds to the technical specifications described on the site.
