PAS configuration with dual chain is now AVAILABLE
This configuration has several advantages:
1) MORE FLEXIBILITY WITH THE INSTALLATION: you don't need anymore that the motor sprocket keeps the chain above the chainring. So you'll be able to install the motor even if the sprocket is very low
2)
PERFECT FOR FOLDABLE BIKES: with chainrings up to 52T
3) LOWER REDUCTION = HIGHER SPEED. By using a smaller chainring than the pedal chainring, you'll multiply the motor's RPM, which is perfect for foldable bikes with small wheels.
Please note that, in this configuration, the torque sensor operating mode will not work.
The PAS kit includes:
1x Chainring of your choice
1x Long torque sensor arm
1x PAS sensor
4x longer chainring screws and nuts
1x Square taper bottom bracket set ( 138mm spindle) with screws.
2x Bottom bracket bearings
Shims and spacers set
PLEASE NOTE THAT:
PAS kit precludes the possibility to use the torque sensor function. So with PAS setup, the torque sensing will be disengaged.
If you already have your motor ( with ID lower than ID600 ) and you'd like to buy the PAS kit, please note that it's necessary to update the firmware. The firmware update can currently be done only at Bikee Bike factory
It's necessary to add the primary chain ( motor sprocket - chainring), which is not included in this kit.
