Configuration Selection Guide

Motor Power:

Select the nominal power of your motor.

Chainguard:

That's highly recommended if you're not riding a road bike. As in a normal bike, the chainguard prevents the chain from falling off.

Legal vs Offroad

In Legal version the motor stops assisting at the legally limited speed, as per the following:

250W: legal speed is 25km/h - When combined with the OFFROAD option, the speed will become 32 km/h

500W: legal speed is 25km/h - When combined with the OFFROAD option, the speed will become 36 km/h

750W: legal speed is 32 km/h ( or 20mph) - When combined with the OFFROAD option, the speed will become 40 km/h

1000W: legal speed is 32 km/h ( or 20mph) - When combined with the OFFROAD option, the speed will become 45 km/h

The Offroad version is unrestricted, so the motor assistance won't cutoff at the above speed, but it will continue assisiting you. Since in many Countries that is not allowed, we recommend checking your laws and using your motor accordingly to those.

If you get the Offroad version and the Superhero Pack, you'll be able to switch on and off the speed limitation by the smartphone app, just by pressing the "RACE" button. So your Offroad version motor can operate as a "legal" motor when you want, but please note that operating a motor which can be unrestricted could be not legally used in regular road in your Country.

Version

The Standard Version torque of your motor depends on the Motor Power version:

250W: max torque is 70Nm

500W: max torque is 90Nm

750W: max torque is 90Nm

1000W: max torque is 90Nm

You can unlock the full potential of you Lightest ebike kit by getting the High Torque version, to bring the torque to the highest levels:

250W High Torque: 90Nm

500W High Torque: 120Nm

750W High Torque: 120Nm

1000W High Torque: 120Nm

What's the difference between torque and power? Torque will push you uphill and give you acceleration on flat roads, while power will give you speed while going uphill or on flat roads.

High Torque option is completely legal.

Motor Mount

• Short Mount : fits classic triangular shaped frames, with the motor standing below the downtube. That's perfect when the downtube is perfectly straight and it can work with chainrings up to 36T. You can download the drawing here: Lightest Short Mount to make sure it matches your frame

• Medium Mount: fits classic triangular shaped frames, with the motor standing below the downtube. Themain difference from the Standard mount is the lenght : medium is about 40mm longer. That makes the chain stay higher on the chainring. That's perfect when the downtube is not perfectly straight or when you need a larger chainring than 36T. Also, this mount as an option for an additional spacer to give more stability and rigidity to the installation. That's a must for Fat Bikes. • Inframe Mount: fits the frames which have a bent downtube, the motor sits inside the frame if you have room for it . You can download the drawing here: Lightest Inframe Mount to make sure it matches your frame

• Hybrid Mount is the Medium Mount plus the motor bracket of the Long Mount. You can download the drawing here: Lightest Hybrid Mount.

• Long Mount: fits the frames which have a bent downtube, the motor sits below the downtube. You can download the drawing here: Lightest Long Mount to make sure it matches your frame

Battery Capacity

Our system is open, so it works with third party batteries. However we suggest to use our batteries because those have been designed to deliver at least 25Amp continuously and 35Amp current burst. You can select here your battery. Please consider the following:

• 220Wh 36V : this battery only fits the 250W motor, and it's recommended if you are well trained and don't need much or prolonged support from the motor. As an indication, this type of battery can reduce your effort of 50% for a two-hour trip.

• 600Wh 48V: this battery is compatible with all the motor powers. It's recommended when you plan to use the motor for medium to long trips, with climbs around 1000-1500 meters of altitude.

• 670Wh 48V: this battery is compatible with all the motor powers. It's recommended when you plan to use the motor for medium to long trips, with climbs around 1100-1700 meters of altitude.
• 800Wh 48V: this battery is compatible with all the motor powers. It's recommended when you plan to use the motor for long trips, with climbs around 2000-2500 meters of altitude.

All the batteries have a lock, keys, battery mount, high current BMS and high current cable with connector. Also, all batteries come with the battery charger.

Battery charger

• 2A charger allows you to fully charge your battery in the time below:
  • 220Wh in 4hours
  • 600Wh in 7 hours
  • 670Wh in 8 hours
  • 800Wh in 9 hours

• 7A charger allows you to fully charge your battery in the time below:
  • 220Wh NOT RECOMMENDED
  • 600Wh NOT RECOMMENDED
  • 670Wh NOT RECOMMENDED
  • 800Wh in 3 hours

Superhero pack to connect with your phone:

• Superhero Pack: connect your smartphone with your Lightest ebike kit for superior customization. Select the power level, the motor response, get the anti-theft lock, control the system with your heartbeat, download your telemetry and much more.. see the below video.
• Superhero pack includes:
  • All advanced features of the app unlocked, such as
    • Motor assistance acceleration and deceleration ramps

Bottom Bracket

• If you're familiar with bottom brackets, please indicate which one you have, otherwise we'll contact you as soon as we'll have received your purchase order to understand which configuration better fit your bike.

• BSA (British threaded)
• Pressfit: we'll need the dimensions. If you choose this option, we will send you Pressfit to BSA adapter. In this way, you'll be able to use the BSA threaded bottom bracket.

ACCESSORIES

PAS Kit for Dual Chain Configuration

The PAS kit includes:

• 1x Chainring of your choice
• 1x Long torque sensor arm
• 1x PAS sensor
• 4x longer chainring screws and nuts
• 1x Square taper bottom bracket set ( 138mm spindle) with screws.
• 2x Bottom bracket bearings
• Shims and spacers set

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

1. PAS kit precludes the possibility to use the torque sensor function. So with PAS setup, the torque sensing will be disengaged.
2. If you already have your motor ( with ID lower than ID600 ) and you'd like to buy the PAS kit, please note that it's necessary to update the firmware. The firmware update can currently be done only at Bikee Bike factory
3. It's necessary to add the primary chain ( motor sprocket - chainring), which is not included in this kit.

Shockproof and waterproof Smartphone:

If you choose the Superhero Pack but you don't feel using your smartphone for checking all your parameters while riding, then you can get this smartphone. It's shockproof and waterproof at a very convenient price.
